Franklin County Cemetery Society was established at Washington, Missouri May 30, 2006. Our principal desire is to research unmarked burials, clearing or cleaning up small cemetery plots, repairing or resetting tombstones and recording any findings not formerly documented. The aim of the group is to record and restore as many of the small burial plots as possible. Anyone with an interest in any facet of cemetery preservation is welcome to become a part of this group.

Found William G. Owens' grave stone. Actually grave stone is too low-key a term for a 4 part stone which includes a 5'3" obelisk!!!! Exciting times!
