Ebenezer “Stone” Church: Tuesday, June 1 at 5:00 p.m. (or earlier if you have your own tools, etc.)
Hope to see you there! We are almost finished at Stone Church, so let’s get it knocked out and on to the next project.
Franklin County Cemetery Society was established at Washington, Missouri May 30, 2006. Our principal desire is to research unmarked burials, clearing or cleaning up small cemetery plots, repairing or resetting tombstones and recording any findings not formerly documented. The aim of the group is to record and restore as many of the small burial plots as possible. Anyone with an interest in any facet of cemetery preservation is welcome to become a part of this group.
This Saturday we are having a work and training day at Ebenezer “Stone” Church’s old cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m. This will be a fun project and there is a lot to do. The good folks at the church will be providing lunch for us.
